it's a Kick!

Jeff Zepp is famous locally as "The Faux Man". Jeff is an experienced artist and graphic designer with over 30 years of professional experience.  He has attended numerous seminars to learn the latest state of the art faux techniques, materials and supplies.  He has worked on faux projects as small as a single room, entire homes and the lobby of the Oceanfront Manor hotel in Ft. Lauderdale.  He earned a stellar reputation and loyal following in the Palm Beach area.  An avid golfer and squash player, he decided to bring his unique talents in the faux arts to Sarasota after falling in love with area for its unique charm and eclectic style while he was in town for a tournament.  Since then, his local reputation has grown by leaps and bounds. In addition to his room and furniture transfauxmations, he creates abstract art and designs and creates one of a kind jewelry.

Karen Sievers, Allied ASID, has been in interior design for 35 years.  Karen managed Ethan Allen Galleries and was a member of the design staff at both Ethan Allen and Robb & Stuckey galleries for many years.  She participated in numerous showhouses for ASID, the West Coast Symphony, Selby Gardens and the Longboat Key Garden Club.  She is known for her eye for color and has established a reputation among her clients for creativity in all aspects of both interior and fashion design.

She can create or design one window treatment, one room or an entire home, including color selections, decorative paintings, renovations, furniture and accessory selections, window coverings and bedding.

  Prior to moving to Sarasota, she and her sister started "It's a Kick" in Colorado, designing apparel, custom bedding, window treatments, upholstery, decorative pillows, original paintings and seashell art.  Now "It's a Kick" has come to the ZeppArt Design Center in Sarasota where examples of her inspired fashions, decorative accessories and interior design flair are on display.  She will soon be introducing a new line of fashion to include casual and beach wear.

 Karen is available at the Heritage House Home Interiors Tues, Wed, and Sat were she is a member of the design staff.
